Both curative and preventative, Merit Granules holds a ten-year record of 90% effectiveness on virtually every species of turf and ornamental pests. Merit even improves the quality of your turf. Merit 0.5 G is for broadcast application on and around turfgrass, ornamentals, trees, shrubs, flowers, groundcovers, and in and around commercial or residential buildings. Apply Merit 0.5 G uniformly over area being treated with normally used granular application equipment. Both drop-type and rotary-type spreaders may be used. Avoid using a spreader which would apply the product in narrow bands. For optimum control, product application should be followed by mechanical incorporation, irrigation, or rainfall, to help move the active ingredient into the soil. The Merit Brass one-piece unibody ball valve is made of stainless steel 316 and has a lever handle and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections on both ends. This stainless steel 316 valve, which is higher strength and more corrosion resistant than stainless steel 304, has a lever handle with a vinyl sleeve for manual on/off control. The unibody construction and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) reinforced seats and seals reduce the risk of valve leakage. The maximum pressure is 800 pounds per square inch (gauge) (psig) for use with water, oil, and gas (WOG) and the working temperature range is 0 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The valve is inline for connecting two pipes going in the same direction and has NPT threads on both ends for creating tighter seals than straight threads. This ball valve is standard (or reduced or regular) port for reduced valve size and cost and is for use with water lines, processing plants, and agricultural applications.
