It's silky smooth, and does the job!
Silky smooth is the best description of how this feels on your skin. I use it nightly to remove eye makeup, in a quick wipe on/wipe off. Sometimes I use warm water to rinse off, sometimes I just wipe it off with a tissue. Either way, your skin will feel silky smooth, and makeup free. I have always liked this product
I have always liked this product, however, this particular bottle I received recently has oil of which consistency, texture, color and smell are very different from my previously purchased ones. I have never experienced any oily sticky residue left on my face after rinsing off with water. But this one sticks. I need to use soap for sure to remove the oiliness. I almost feel as though the product has been adulterated with regular olive oil. Plus, the color is more green than light green/yellow, which makes me think even more that it may have been tampered/compromised ....not satisfied at all.Olive Care kindly sent me a complementary bottle of DHC cleansing oil, but this one also is defective. I tested this new bottle of oil against the other bottle that I purchased from an authorized seller,SkinCareRx (by DHC, officially). The solubility of the former(Right) is clearly very poor (it's not miscible with water at all in fact) compared to the other (Left). Some others seem to have experienced the same thing as me, and I am pretty sure they got the same lot, which I think is "FFMTS(on the back of the box.)" If this lot is defective, I guess it's DHC's fault, but since Olive Care is not officially authorized by DHC to sell their products, DHC would not be able to do anything about our purchases through Olive Care.

Holy Grail CLEANSER, saved my skin from Cystic Acne and Blackheads
They say that you really don't know the true value of [most things] in life until you no longer have them...this is one of those items for me!! A full bottle of this cleansing oil lasted me about a little over 7 months. For reference, I have super oily (oily on the outside but dry on the inside) skin and very sensitive and acne-prone. Although this particular brand does contain mineral oil, I didn't have any reactions to it, since I was able to lightly rub the oil onto my entire face and gently take off all of my make-up at once! It emulsifies into a milky wish liquid upon contact with water. I recommend only using 1-3 pumps and gently sweeping in wiper-blade motions, not rubbing too hard on your skin. Since this is oil, it miraculously lifts and pulls on the dirt and debris trapped inside my (huge) pores and made my blackheads nearly invisible for most of the time after cleansing. This is an amazing pore-shrinker, my friends have been curious as to what new facial I've been getting because I can go outside without makeup on, but I just tell them it's this cleansing oilI ran out about 3 weeks ago and now my pores are HUGE again. There are so many blackheads and bumps on my face that I cannot get rid of no matter how much I use my other (foaming) cleanser. I need to keep re-ordering this!! I've been breaking out more than usual lately and I attribute it to not using (this).

I've known about double cleansing and cleansing oils for years now, but I have yet to find a cleansing oil that did not break me out until this one. I have tried cleansing oils and balms at different price points, but all of them have caused breakouts within a couple of days. This cleansing oil was the first and only one that does not cause my skin at any problems.At this price point, my main concern (other than whether this product causes more problems with my skin) is whether this product does its job at removing makeup. The Kose oil works great in this regard and is able to remove my everyday makeup as well as my waterproof makeup. While the consistency is not my favorite and it takes slightly longer than other cleansing oils, I think that these are just minor flaws, especially at this price.The only other issue is that I wished the pump is able to lock without the clip. I lost my clip the very first day, which makes bring the bottle a hassle whenever I travel.
Staple
I've gone through 3-4 bottles of it now. It's cheap and effective at getting my makeup off. It does leave a film in my eyes if I'm also using it to take off eye makeup, but other oil cleansers I've tried have done the same so I won't dock off a star. I've used the DHC as well and I liked it as well, but what attracted me to this was the cheaper price. Yes, it contains mineral oil but as an acne-prone, oily-skinned girl I haven't really found an issue with it since I always double cleanse when I use this anyway. In that same vein I don't think it helps with my skin problems either, but I have other things for that. The purpose of this in my routine is just to take off the sunscreen and makeup, which it does well.
Cleanses well, smells great
So far, I'm liking this as a first cleaner/oil cleanser. It cleans off all my makeup, including waterproof mascara, quickly and efficiently. It has a pleasant orange/citrus scent, and doesn't irritate my skin in any way. But even when I emulsify with water first, it doesn't rinse off completely -- there's still a slightly oily residue. Of course, my second cleanser removes this, but other oil/balm cleansers I've used rinse off more cleanly. It's great value for money, and I love that you can buy refills. I will most likely repurchase this one.

This is my second oil cleanser. I was using a dupe for the Banilla cleansing balm and I am enjoying the Kose oil more than the balm cleanser. It is not highly scented ( I had to go back and check it when I wrote that to make sure, so not a memorable scent).Kose Deep cleansing oil is pretty thin, so one pump is enough to clean my face and neck. Be careful with the first few times you pump it, it can shoot out pretty far until the pump breaks in. :) I wear pretty stubborn ( waterproof) sunblock/sunscreen and sometimes make up and this oil took it off with very little rubbing. It emulsifies well and rinses clean enough that I probably do not need a second cleanser. It leaves my face comfortable yet clean. I have normal to dry skin as well as mild rosacea and this did not irritate my skin. It would probably be a good first cleanser/make up remover for oily skin as well, just make sure to check the ingredients because I think this has mineral oil which some people are sensitive too. The package did come with a "collar" around the neck of the pump to prevent accidental squirtage. The bottle came with the collar as well as a cellophane shrink wrap, so it was very secure in shipping.
A fine cleansing oil for a good price
I originally bought The Face Shop's Brightening Rice Water Cleansing Oil and it smelt great and worked fine but it was soooo small! So I settled on trying this product and it works just as good and is a great price. You get a lot of product and the scent is great. It's orangey and it is very effective at removing make up and sunblock. The only thing I wouldn't use this for us massage, The Face Shop one did cleanse a little better but it was way more watery and not as thick as this oil. I'd say they're in the same league, but if The Face Shop did make theirs in a bigger size for the same price I'd go for that one. For now though for cost and for efficiency this works just fine and I have nothing negative to say about it. I can use it on my eyes and it doesn't burn and I like the thickness of the product itself. Try it for yourself and see.

Broke out my acne prone skin
Skin type - Combo-oily, moderate acneI have very mixed feelings about this cleansing oil. I gotta say, it gets my L'oreal Miss Manga waterproof mascara off like a charm (as well as all of my makeup), and is able to emulsify nicely.To my dismay, it broke me out pretty terribly (and when I started using topical antibiotics that purged my skin no less... //sigh//), and it smelled a little weird. I'm not sure if I got a fake or not because it still works as it's supposed to, but it really doesn't smell at all like citrus to me. Then again, it looks like they reformulated not long ago, so I'm not so sure of it's just a bad formulation or what, as I feel like a fake wouldn't properly emulsify.Also this one is probably my own fault, but when it gets in my eyes, it hurts like hell and takes a while to get out, especially when emulsified; it even caused some minor styes. -_-~The search for a good oil cleanser continues~

Best Oil Cleanser (my opinion)
I love this cleansing oil. I use it in my 1st step of my 10 step Korean skin care. I massage this around my face, then use a cleanser after it while its still on my face. Cleanser is step 2. My skin is clean and soft. I've tried a couple of other oils, and I'm not using anything else from now on. Don't let the cheap price fool you, this is great stuff. Their cleanser is really good too.
Light but Efficient
I've been really into cleansing oils cause I think they get my makeup off a lot more efficiently without being too harsh on my skin (especially the delicate skin around the eyes). It's not too think like the Garnier cleansing oil (I think it was) and it does a better job at getting makeup off my skin. It's the first step in my double cleansing (the second step being cleaning the skin with a cleanser like a foam cleanser or a gel cleanser) and I think it really preps my skin for the second side. It's very moisturizing and it typically lasts me 3-4 months (I only use two pumps for my face and neck). I've been using this for about 2 years now and there's a little plastic thing around the pump so that it doesn't accidently get spilled while traveling which have been a relief not having to worry about spillage. I love this and I will most likely repurchase this again.

This product was my introduction to oil cleansing in the two-step oil cleansing followed by foam cleanser in the Korean 10 step regimen and I find it very gentle and effective in removing sebum and making my face feel clean without that overdrive squeaky clean feeling. using this oil when i remove my make up every other night.im also using tacha cleaning oil (every beauty blogger r talking about this oil and love it) when i dont use this one bc i wanted compare these oils.in my opinion tatcha is 5 times more expensive then this one and tatch's formula is alot ticker than this oil but product quality and function is nothing less than tatcha cleansing oil.works great and feels very lightalso didnt break me out.what else do u need?hopefully this review was helpful
Gentle and MOST EFFECTIVE product
Hands down best cleansing oil I have used. My holy grail product is the Shu Uemura cleansing oils in all types, but they are a bit pricey. I saw this online and decided to try. It's so mild and gentle, but EFFECTIVE. I use just one pump for my entire face and neck (yes, I buff my makeup down to my jawline!) and this spreads so evenly. I massage for only 30 seconds, and move onto my eyes. 1 pump is enough for all of that. I have used American, Japanese, other Korean brands, but this is the best I have found for my skin. In winter I have dry skin and I hated using makeup wipes, after using this for a while now, using makeup wipes seems so aggressive and it doesn't feel good because it's tugging at the skin. This melts the makeup away, is not greasy, and leaves my skin supple. Great effectiveness so on light makeup days I actually don't need a second cleanser, I just moisturize after washing this off. No greasy residue, no fragrance is left. I definitely will be repurchasing! This seller also had very fast shipping, which is a bonus to a great product!

Use warm water...
I've noticed scars lightening and some that I've had for years have disappeared. It does remove all your make up, even the difficult mascara (I add a dab on my fingertips and gently roll the oil onto my lashes.)My only complaint would be that when this stuff gets into your eyes, it doesn't burn, but it's not fun either. That and the way my home is built, my bathroom is the very last to receive hot water, so I end up wasting loads of water bc this will not come off with just water...and I'm in Northern California (where all the water supply comes from,) so I feel guilty as hell doing this.

Fake but works the same
I'm disappointed that this isn't the real face shop oil remover. The packaging is different with a different logo and the color of the bottle is a tad off. That being said, this product works similarly to the face shop one. It does a decent job at taking off my makeup, however, I feel like this one leaves some residual oil so I have to spend more time washing my face. All in all this oil does the job so I'll continue to use it until it runs out before purchasing the real one.

Great product, will continue purchasing
The best makeup cleanser I own in terms of effectiveness and price. I own the water based makeup remover from Biderma and I love it but I use it up pretty fast and it's also pricey. This cleansing oil removes everything with just 2 small pumps and 5 minutes of my night skincare routine. I love it even more when I find that it can also melt away all my eye makeup without hurting my eyes. I personally don't like the feel of oil on my face but this stuff comes off immediately when I wash my face with water leaving my skin clean and soft. I wish there was more product because I feel like it's running out quite fast. Aside from that, love it!

Gentle and powerful
Ive been using cleansing oil for quite some time so I already had high expectations for this one when I bought it. It blew them all out of the water, though. My skin is even softer than I expected, and this oil is incredibly thorough in its cleaning of my skin. I love it, and because you dont need much, this bottle will probably last six or more months, if I use it right. My moisturizers are doing a better job, too, all because I have a high quality cleanser.
great facial cleanser!
This was my first time using an "oil" to wash my face and remove makeup so I was a little skeptical to use an oil to get dirt off but I was pretty surprised that It worked well. It was light and refreshing and didn't leave an oily residue like I was I was expecting. I had a very nice smell to it and left my face smelling very soft. After almost a full week of use, I will likely permanently make the switch over.

Highly highly recommend this product for anyone that suffers from eczema! I've tried about every single product in the market from cheapest to the most expensive makeup remover and they all break out my skin except this one. My skin usually gets really dry after using a makeup remover wipe, with this my skin stays hydrated after rinsing it off with warm water. My husband has also been using it as well because, he noticed how soft my skin was after every wash!

Removes makeup and skin is soft
I like it.It's like using an actual oil. Which means it doesn't emulsify with water. But I always do a cleanser after my cleansing oil. So that doesn't matter to me.If it is important that your cleansing oil emulsifies for you. Then this is not what you're looking for.I like that this helps remove my makeup and after using a cleanser my skin still feels soft. I have dehydrated skin that acts normal with a good skincare routine.
Will not disappoint!!!
There's just not enough words to express how good this cleanser is! It's all natural with no chemicals! That's the best part of it. Leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturized and squeaky clean. Not July does it clean, but it helps with those horrible stretch marks that we all get (usually) at some pint in life.I also love the fact they don't use animals for testing. So if you're looking for an all natural daily cleanser that does it's job... this is the best choice. Majestic Pure makes several products that I thoroughly enjoy using. It's awesome!!

I am more than delighted with this product, and highly recommend it! The oil is an excellent eye make-up remover, the best I've tried. Also a really great make-up remover. It doesn't just do a very, very good job of cleansing, it's also a wonderful moisturizing oil. I use it with a cotton pad to remove make-up, then use a toner, and then use the oil again to moisturize. I love it, and will keep re-ordering!
No harsh chemicals
I was looking for some product that would be safe to use on a daily basis in order to remove my makeup at nights. I have tried several cleansers, but the chemicals irritate my skin and I get redness on my face. This Camellia oil does not have any harsh chemicals and most importantly, it is not tested on animals. This is a big factor for me, when choosing for a cosmetic product.To me, it has no smell, which is positive. I dab a few drops on cotton and clean my eyes and face with it. It gets the job done. I always rinse with cold water afterwards. So far, I'm satisfied with this Camellia oil.

Caused Major Allergic Reaction
This is a vent, and it's LONG. Move along if you're not in the mood.I just had the most infuriating discussion with a representative from Unilver regarding their Simple brand makeup remover wipes. I called them last week to report my daughter's reaction to their product (her eyelids swelled shut). I wanted to try to isolate what she was actually allergic to, so we don't buy anything with that chemical in it again. My daughter spent the day with ice on her eyes, and had to take benadryl to get the swelling down. She missed an important softball tryout - and she was miserable.So, I get a phone call today. It's Sasha, from Unilever. Well, Hi, Sasha. She wants to get some information from me about my daughter's experience.Sasha: So how old is your daughter?Me: 15Sasha: And she was REMOVING MAKEUP?Me: YesSasha: You let your 15 year old wear MAKEUP?Me: Umm, Yes...Sasha: MmmmmmmmShe then went on to tell me that these wipes are not for minors. They are marketed for adults. And she was very rude, and VERY judgemental about my choice to allow my daughter to wear makeup. It was one of the most ridiculous conversations I've ever had.Keep in mind, there is absolutely no place on the packaging that states that these products are only for adults. I told Sasha that. I read from the actual package. She responded, "Well no, as I already said - it isn't written anywhere. It's just assumed." WTH?So I told her I want to speak to a Supervisor. She said someone would call me in 24 hours, and she hung up on me. In the interest of transparency, I probably said, "I need to speak to someone with some intelligence." Just putting that out there so I don't paint myself as being completely calm and rational at this point.I called Unilever back - and I asked for a manager. I spoke with, "Gee." I have no idea how to spell it, but that's how it sounds.I had the call on speaker and I recorded it. Along with telling me that the wipes are for "mature" skin, she also went on to tell me that she has a baby, and before she uses any new products on her baby, she tests a little first to make sure the baby doesn't have a reaction because that's what parents do. NO WORDS for a few seconds as I tried not to explode.I quietly said, "You do realize that this is a young woman who is learning to drive a car? She is not a baby." I also said, "So you're saying that she should have wasted a wipe - that specifically states it's for sensitive skin - and tested it on an inconspicuous place because it's actually loaded with chemicals?"Her response: "Well, yeah."She then went on to say, "She was probably allergic to something in the wipes." At this point, I'm trying really hard to keep my head from exploding. "You don't say." Then she says, "Well I do apologize that your daughter had some burning and stinging."::::::TICKY-BOOM::::::"What? Did you say burning and stinging? Umm, no. How about her eyelids swelled shut? As in, 'Mom, I can't see anything something is really wrong' kind of reaction. She spent the day with ice packs on her eyes. She had a terrible headache. She had to go to Urgent Care. She needed a mega dose of benadryl and she slept the entire day.I am livid right now. So, I'm passing this along to everyone: this "Simple" product, which is marketed only as, "Kind to Skin" and from "Sensitive Skin Experts" is actually full of chemicals. They will blame you and judge your parenting when there's a reaction - which is completely ridiculous and does nothing to solve the problem. Now they want me to send the product back and sign a medical release because they feel that, "She may have had an existing allergy."I already attempted to write to Unilever online, and I was ignored.

Amazing.
Product is gentle on my extremely sensitive eczema on my face, the acne has diminished dramatically within the short period of time Ive used it, and the dark spots left on my cheeks are gone. I used this product with a snail mucin product in the morning, and egyptian magic as a night mask. My skin is healing greatly. You only need a tiny pea size squirt of the foaming cleanser, and half a pump or less of the oil cleanser. Definitely use those 2 other products with it, together it heals and moisturizes all throughout the day without making it too oily on the forehead.
I really like the oil cleanser
I really like the oil cleanser! The second cleanser I don't like as much because it leaves my skin feeling slightly sticky - like your skin feels after you use bar soap on it. Also I find that I don't even need the second cleanser all the time because I like to leave a little of the oil on my face as a moisturizer. This has not broken me out and I will continue to use it until I'm done! I would probably try to repurchase JUST the oil cleanser by itself.

I am SO SO happy with this set! Especially the oil. Let me break it down:Rice Water Brightening cleansing oil:This stuff is great! The overall consistency is very light, there is no mineral oil in this formula and it is great for oily/combination skin. I take it in the shower with me and with dry, towel patted hands, I apply the product to my face using about 1-2 pumps on average per washing. I massage my face concentrating on the heavily applied make up areas. When I'm ready to wash it off, I just splash some water onto my face and massage it in, emulsifying the oil with the water until it foams slightly and completely washes off. I know that it is not recommended for eye make up removal but I use it anyway. Removes stubborn mascara perfectly. Just keep those eyes shut, it burns like hell! The scent is very soft, I cant even describe it but its very pleasant. It almost reminds me of a light floral/ powder smell... akin to Korean "milk" scented body products.Rice water brightening cleansing foam:Again, great for removing make up. It removes what the oil might've left behind. The lather is very soft and applies easily. Same scent as the oil. An overall great daily cleanser.After using either or both of these products, I notice that my face is very soft and moisturized but not by any means greasy looking or oily. I'm very happy with these products and I would definitely order them again. Especially the oil. I was very surprised at how effective and easy to use this was. My previous oil cleanser was the skin food black sugar version and though it did what I needed it to, I found the process daunting and the product was just difficult to remove.... well, more so than this one for sure.*I have combination/ oily skin (t-zone oily) and I wear make up on a regular basis.
Best skin product ever
This skin care line is amazing. Ive spent so much money through out the years trying to find a product that would not irritate my skin. I tried high end products and also drug store products and they made me breakout despite being geared towards sensitive skin.I decided to try the newest trend of k-beauty products and read about this brand so I thought Id give it a try.This brand seriously transformed my complexion. dry skin and struggled for a long time because it seemed like no matter what I tried
every since I added these to my everyday skincare routine, my skin has looked incredible. I should add that I don't have acne prone skin or breakouts. I have sensitive, dry skin and struggled for a long time because it seemed like no matter what I tried, I had a bad reaction and/or my face still felt really dry. this is the only face wash I've found that has truly made a difference without causing some sort of a reaction. all of my best friends (yes, literally all of them) have tried this at some point the past six months and they all decided to add it to their everyday skincare routine and purchased their own.
Just what I was looking for!
I've been using this set with a good moisturizing set for a month now and I can see a difference in my skin. My skin is clearer and has a bit of a glow to it even during that time of the month when breakouts are the worst. And the products feel great using. Even my husband loves using them. I definitely recommend.
Love the foam, not the oil
I have been following a Korean routine for a year now and if you told me I had to use only one product I would say this foam. Its amazing by itself but combined with an oily soap it just make wonders. I have very dry skin on my cheeks and very oily with open pores and black spots in my t zone. This foam manages to keep my cheeks soft and to balance the oil in my forehead, nose and chins. The oil, however, I just dont like. I have tried other Korean oily soaps and they are much alike but I guess Im just not used to it. It just feel icky and you need the foam to remove it. After you use both of them, you end up with a tight feeling on your face. I prefer to use instead an slightly less oily soap like Dessert Essence face wash, which combined with this foam gives my face a clean, not oily but not tight feeling.

How To Achieve the 10 Step Korean Beauty Routine in 8 Steps or Less (List of Products in Order)
I recently began a quest for all the beauty products needed to achieve the youthful, dewy look ever popular in Korea in anticipation of my wedding day. (Yes, I'm an American who watches a lot of Kdramas and became supremely jealous of Kon Joon-He's character in "She Was Pretty.") I've had a fantastic experience with the new skin care regimen: huge reduction in blemishes, almost completely eliminated the pimples!!!--I just get one or two during my period--evened skin tone, and overall a cleaner, softer face. Since it's been so overwhelming to research every step on my own, I'm providing a list of all the winners so far, and in what order of the skin care/makeup routine to use them in. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone who wants to venture into the world of Korean skin care but isn't sure where to start. **Indicates the product in review.1. Cleanser - The Face Shop: Rice Water Bright**Apply this to dry, unwashed skin and gently rub in circles to fully cleanse your face. Works as a makeup remover, but I'd recommend a different product for eye makeup removal. Rinse the oil off with lukewarm water. This is the perfect, gentle cleanser for sensitive, mixed oily/dry skin, like mine. It has a very faint smell of rice water. Not surprising, considering that's what it is. A little goes a long way, so one pump is usually enough for my entire face. Be careful not to carry it sideways in a makeup kit if the pump gets loose. I made the mistake of doing that, and got all my other products coated in rice water cleanser. ;) Oh, and that little plastic thing on the pump pops right off. It took me forever to figure it out. I kept twisting and unscrewing and finally realised you just pull the little plastic piece right off and then snap it back on when you're done for the night. :P2. Toner/Refresher - Etude House 10-in-1 House Wonder Pore FreshenerTightens pores, and purifies skin. Apply to a cotton pad or cotton balls and then to face. Let dry.3. Moisturiser - Skin Food Peach Sake EmulsionPretty self-explanatory. Apply right after the toner sets in to feed your face with some moisture.4. Serum - Skin Food Peach Sake Pore SerumA slightly more concentrated moisturiser to apply after the first. Yes, Koreans have many steps (most of them moisturising ones) in their beauty routine, I've learned. But it really does amazing things to your skin. And once you get the hang of it, applying all these products every night doesn't really take a whole lot of extra time. It also cuts back on my makeup routine in the morning, because when my skin is naturally healthy, clear, and soft, I'd rather show it off than cover it up. ;)5. Night Cream - Nature Republic Fresh Green TeaNOTE: This particular product is not sold on Amazon. I had to buy it on sale at my local Korean market because I was too scared to order anything over $10 that I wasn't sure about. But you can find any number of night creams here for the final step. I recommend something with green tea or aloe. Just apply at night onto clean, pampered skin, rub it in thoroughly, and sleep on it!Other Cosmetics/Extras I Found Useful/Worth Purchasing:Facial Scrub - Skin Food Black Sugar MaskUse twice a week for a deeper facial cleanse than you regular cleanser. Apply a little, gently exfoliate, leave on, rinse off. If it goes on too thick, use a little water or toner to make it easier to scrub in.CC Cream - Lioele Dollish CC Cera-VCC Creams are much like BB Creams, (not a cream to match your skin colour, but a transparent foundation/primer) but if my experience with the two I've tried is any indication, CC Creams give more coverage and make the skin look more bright, white, and luminescent, rather than simply evening out the skin tone and providing SPF. Apply before any colour foundations.Highlighter - Etude House Secret Beam Highlighter #1 Pink & White MixTo be brushed on over foundation in key spots to brighten the face even further. Goes on like a sheer fairy dust--just a bit of sparkle, but not like glitter. This isn't for a Labyrinth Masquerade ball, you know. ;)Face Mist - Innisfree Green Tea Mineral MistFace Mist is something you apply whenever you choose, before or after makeup, to keep your face hydrated and fresh throughout the day. I carry a bottle in my purse and spritz a little on whenever I feel my face is tired. :) This particular mist I haven't tried yet, because my order hasn't arrived, but I bought a Nature Republic bamboo mist from my local Korean market, and I love it a lot.Products I Didn't Think Worth the Fuss:Face Masks- These are a huge hit in Korea, and they're fun to wear around the house to get a rise out of family members who think you look creepy. But for me they're too sticky, drippy, and overrated. I prefer the clay masks or avocado masks that you have to wash off after.Expensive Serums, Essence, Bee Toxin... anything over $20 a bottle I passed up. As I've discovered, you can get really great results with just the five things I listed above, and none of them are over $15. Most are under $10.
Light and does the job well!
Very impressed with this oil. The first time I used it was right after I got out of the shower, my face was clean...or so I thought. I applied the oil just to give it a try. A tiny squirt that I rubbed onto my fingers to easily distribute onto my face. The oil is light and had a soft scent that I'd describe as powdery with a hint of flowers. I massaged the oil in a circular motion onto my face and later removed it with a cotton ball, and to my amazement the cotton ball was dirty, ew! Mind you, I had not been using any makeup that day. This oil picked up dirt (most likely dead skin) that I didn't know was there! That's also why I use a cotton ball, so I can see what I've picked up. I later applied water to rinse off what was left of the oil and later washed my face again with a Korean brand of face soap that I ordered along with this oil. My face felt fresh and clean without any tightness or dryness. My skin type is: combination with an oily t-zone. I've been using this for several days now and it removes makeup so well. I just put a pump or two onto my fingers and massage the oil all over my face, concentrating on the areas where I applied makeup, remove the oil with a cotton ball, rinse my face with water, then apply face soap ( just started using a Korean brand) because I like to make sure everything is thoroughly clean. Just to let you know, the oil is light and watery. I would say that it's a dry oil and doesn't really leave you greasy like oils do (I can't read Korean so not sure if they would call it a dry oil, but it sure does feel that way). If you don't want to have it drip off of your fingers you could use a cotton ball or cotton pad to apply it onto your face.The oil came shrink wrapped and taped up in bubble wrap. There's a tiny stopper under the nozzle of the bottle that you remove to activate the pump. No packaging/box was with this face oil but it's alright with me, I can't read what it would say anyways. I included a photo of how my bottle arrived in the shrink wrap, which was pretty secure as the pump cannot be activated unless you remove the stopper, and the shrink wrap prevented the nozzle from turning during shipping.This oil is a great add to my daily cleansing routine and I'd order it again.
Wonderful for getting off the makeup! My skin's never felt better
This stuff is great! I read a ton of reviews before buying and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Easy to apply, and in just a few drops, my face makeup melts off and the oil feels great on my skin. Once rinsed off, my face feels SO incredibly soft, and my pores are tightened, but without the dry and uncomfortable feel.PS I've struggled with acne and redness for years, and I feel like this is really gentle and helping it heal nicely :)*I wouldn't totally recommend this alone for eye makeup. I usually use a makeup wipe to get most of my mascara and eyeliner off, then wash my face (and eye area) with this to get rid of anything remaining

This is a light oil cleanser. It has a soft plseantl floral type smell. To use this all I do is apply it to small makeup cotton pads. It removes dead skin and dirt from your face fairly easy as well as make up. I use a cotton pad by apply a small amount of this rice water to the cotton pad and then I wipe my face with another cotton and then I rinse off with like warm water. You wouldn't believe how dirty the cotton pad is even if you have washed your face prior to using this rice water. I believe it is a light dry oil cleanser. I recommend this to anyone who would like to use Korean skin care.

I have tried many oil cleansers and I am a fan, just always searching for the holy grail. This is not it. It didn't remove my mascara well, which is why I like an oil cleanser, it didn't rinse off as well as many others, and the smell is artificial and strong. I have dry skin and rarely break out and after 3 days of using this I did.The price was not bad, the packaging is great, and this may be a good cleanser if you are looking for a Korean 2 step cleansing process. I'm not. (too lazy) So for now I'm sticking with Softymo and Hado Labo. And occasionally, DHC.

Love this stuff
Love this stuff! As a 30+ woman, skin health is a concern. This stuff takes off makeup really well. I still have to wash with other products for the final cleaning, but it does aid greatly in make up removal.

Great facial oil cleanser and body oil but doesnt emulsify well.
I think this product is good: it has an amazing, calming smell, it removes my makeup with ease (I only wear eye makeup, so Im unsure how it removes facial or waterproof makeup) and its has multi functions. I mainly use it as a facial oil cleanser. I usually double cleanse, first with oil and then with another non oil cleanser. I only have the product 4 stars because it doesnt emulsify with water as well as other oil cleansers Ive used. Its not a bad thing just not what I expected. I find that I HAVE to use my second cleanser or my face and hands are super oily. However, I also use it in my body and in my hair so that makes up for extra oiliness. I may buy this again, but mainly because of the other uses besides a facial oil cleanser.
