Description

Cym. Beauty Sound 'Scorpion' is a lovely cascading Cymbidium that produces a deep yellow-green flower with a spotted red lip. Its flower spikes are pendulous, meaning the flowers will arch out over the side of the pot, creating a beautiful display. This is an unusually vigorous and hardy variety, making it very easy to grow and perfect as a beginner's orchid. It is also warm-tolerant and should bloom well under most growing conditions (but avoid freezing temperatures). PLEASE NOTE: some leaf tips may be trimmed, as this variety is sensitive to fertilizer levels and susceptible to fertilizer leaf tip burn. The plants labeled "SM" or "SMALL" are divisions from larger plants and may have a leafless backbulb or two. They will grow into Blooming Size (BS) plants in about 1.5 years. The Near Blooming Size (NBS) plants will reach BS in about one year. To grow this excellent Cymbidium orchid, water around twice per week, avoid direct sun (bright shady conditions work best), fertilize every other week, and it will do great for you!
