Description

Advanced Tactile Grip (ATAC). Designed largely for spincast reels, the co-molded ergonomic ATAC rod grips immediately make a visual impression of being different based on their super modernistic shape. But it's their touch that makes an angler quickly realize they're holding something they've never felt before. ATAC provides the lowest possible profile for palming the reel, and a hook set pad that's super cushioned with five open spaces to allow direct touch points to the rod blank. The result is far better balance for both casting and setting the hook, and much increased sensitivity for feeling the slightest bite. Not only do ATAC grips make it easier for anglers to 'palm' the reel, but their split grip configuration also makes it easier to put both hands on the rod for more accurate casts. Advanced Tactile rod grips are part of a series of composite graphite combo rods that can be found on their own namesake ATAC spincast and baitcast combos, as well as the NEW 33 Black and ZR33 Rhino series of Zebco combos.
