But for a really great snowman, you'll want some really great accessories.
That means a hat, a scarf, a carrot-like nose, lots of black dots for eyes, mouth and buttons, and maybe a tobacco pipe for a finishing touch.
Those essential accessories are exactly what you get in this kit. The hat is big and rumply, with a red band and a flower decoration.
The scarf is bright red and fringed at the ends. You get a faux carrot made of wood, the pipe looks like an old-fashioned corncob pipe, and you get plenty of black dots (with stems to hold them in the snow) for eyes, mouth and buttons.
It's interesting to note that the classic design for snowmen dates back to a time when most homes were heated by coal, and bits of coal you could find in your cellar were perfect for all the black dots a good snowman needs.
