Description

The Gaylord Archival Newspaper Preservation Kit has everything you need to organize and safely store your vintage and important newspapers for generations. Newspapers record some of our most important personal and collective events and achievements, yet they're very susceptible to damage and deterioration. Newspapers contain lignin, so simply exposing them to air and light can quickly turn them yellow. Storing newspapers folded can also cause permanent damage. This kit features a sturdy box that's large enough to hold unfolded newspapers and has a drop-front on the long side to enable easy removal of items. The deep lid protects against light and dust, and metal edges add strength and support. File folders, a label pocket and white gloves complete the kit.
