Description

Red High Temperature Silicone 85g Tube is resistant to high temperatures up to +350 C. Meets all requirements of automobile manufacturers (OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer). Replaces the traditional seals like cork, paper, felt, asbestos and rubber. The silicone is "sensor safe" and can therefore be safely used in modern oxygen sensored vehicles with electronic fuel injection. Resistant to: oils, greases, coolants, amongst other things. It can be used for all components including valve cover, thermostat gaskets, oil pans, water pumps, among other components that require tightness and resistance to high temperatures. K2 Silicone can be used for all makes and models of cars. K2 silicone penetrates into the smallest irregularities or columns, thereby improving the adjustment of the connected elements. Applied as an alternative to traditional rubber seals. Application: The surface must be dry, free of dust, dirt, grease and remains of old gaskets. Apply a bead of sealant to the surface and with the help of a knife, which has been moistened with soap and water, remove excesses. The silicone begins to harden after about 5 minutes. After about 24 hours, the desired result is attained.
