This, is a rare find and one-of-a-kind. I knew when I saw it that I should snatch it up because I have never seen one like this before! The stone is amazing in person, and is NOT black at the center. I could not photograph it in a manner that shows the color, but the entire center is actually a deep sapphire blue. It has a very vibrant, bright blue shaded outer rind that transitions from the dark blue center with a full spectrum of blue. It is very large at 24x23x2.5mm and 13.5 carats. It is a 100% natural, top grade, gloss polished slice with natural edges and is of a size that is rarely seen especially in indicolite blue. The piece is set entirely in 14K solid white gold. This gorgeous tourmaline is flanked by dense clusters of varying blue tourmaline rondelles that fade from dark blue to light blue to bring out the colors in the slice. It also features 4 links with AAA london blue topaz rondelles. I have chosen a lovely 14K solid gold 1.2mm cable chain and overall length of the necklace is 16 inches, PLUS a 2 inch extender, and it is finished with a sturdy 14K solid gold lobster clasp. This necklace is very well made... by me, and will last a lifetime. It will come elegantly wrapped in a black matte kraft box and bow tied with brown jute string and a decorative tag. It is ready for gifting!
