As an aspiring home bread baker, I quickly realized that the available Bread Lames were either poorly designed, poorly constructed or made out of poor material. And the blades constantly slipped off

That's when I set out to design a superior product using the following criteria.

- SOLID STAINLESS STEEL - Built like a surgical tool for precision and designed to last forever
- BLADE HAD TO BE SECURE and not slip off during use - Key design feature
- EASILY CHANGEABLE BLADE - with safety in mind
- DISHWASHER SAFE - easily cleaned and sanitized
- PROTECTIVE STORAGE CASE for safety


After several mock-ups, I settled on a design. I then found a premier cutlery manufacturer that specializes in Stainless Steel. With their expertise we were able to make some modifications which improved a good design.

The final product is what you see here. I find it to meet all of the original criteria and I believe that it is the best designed and the best built Bread Lame on the market today.
