Description

This is a professional paint thickness meter to measure the coating thickness on magnetic metals such as iron or steel and non-magnetic metals such as aluminum. It does NOT measure the thickness on wood, stone or drywall. The paint meter has two sensors, and it will select the correct sensor for the metal you are measuring. It can be used to measure the thickness of paint, spray paint or powder coating on metal pieces or sheet metal. It also can be used to measure the paint on cars and trucks and can help detect a re-painted section that may indicate an accident. Since it has two sensors it will work with traditional cars made from steel, but also with the new trucks with aluminum exterior, like the new F150. Specifications: Range: 0 - 1250 micron; M, 0 - 50mil; Resolution: 1 micron or 0.1mils; Accuracy: +/-(3%+2 micron) or +/-(3%+0.1mils); Modes: Single & Continuous; Memory for 10 measurements, Battery Indicator: Low battery indicator; Metric / Imperial: Convertible. Battery: 1x 1.5V, AAA size
