Description
We prepare our Oregon Grape Extract from the young lateral roots of Mahonia aquifolium shrubs which are Sustainably Wildcrafted in their wild mountain habitat in the Pacific Northwest. To assure optimal extraction of Oregon Grape's bioactive compounds, the roots are hand-dug in autumn or spring, and are then carefully shade-dried and thoroughly extracted.
