Oh Yuk Washing Machine Cleaner is a highly advanced formula designed to remove the contamination that builds up over time behind the drum in both front-load, and top-load washers.

How do you know your washer needs cleaning?

What is the odor coming from my washing machine?
The foul odor coming from your washer is the smell of odor-causing mold and bacteria that has built up over time, feeding on the leftover dirt and oils from each wash.

Are washing machines dirty even though you run detergent in each wash?
Yes. All washing machines, top load and front load, will develop a buildup of odor-causing mold, soap residue, scale, dirt, and oils behind the drum over time. This contamination may be present even if you cannot see it or smell it. The inside of your washer's drum might not appear dirty because the clothes rub against it, keeping it clean.

Why let the product soak and add hot water to the washer?
Most of the contamination buildup in top-load and front-load washers is in the bottom few inches of the washer behind the drum. Just like washing dishes, hot water helps remove soil and contamination better than cold water, and soaking for longer periods of time removes more contamination. Keep in mind the contamination may be up to 1" thick on the backside of your drum.

Instructions:
1.) For both front load and top load, wipe visible contamination off of door and other areas inside washer with Oh Yuk Washing Machine Cleaner.
2.) Add 4 oz. of cleaner directly into bottom of washer, fill hot water into washer, 2" to 4" inside the drum of the washer. This helps loosen the most contaminated area. Let soak at least 1 hour.
3.) Run washer on full or large load setting with hot water.
