Dutch iris-also called Beauty Irises-are perfect for cutting gardens. They grow from bulbs (not rhizomes) that can be planted in fall (zones 5 to 9) or spring. Orchid-like flowers bloom from late spring to early summer. Because of its narrower petals and long, slender stems, It is a favorite of florists and home gardeners.
