At Home on Main Handmade Decorative Wood Crates (nested set of 3): Our crates are handcrafted by an artisan so there are variations in color and finish. The black/natural crates are our best sellers ! Everyone loves their rustic chic finish. The crates come in 3 different sizes, so they can be used for a variety of objects, and can be nested and stored together when not in use. The crates are great for: toiletries/cosmetics, kitchen items (oils, towels, fruit, cooking utensils), plants & seeds, laundry items, craft or office supplies, shadow box displays & more. Please note that these are sturdy but not designed to hold very heavy objects. They can be hung on the wall, but only if you place lightweight items inside (such as small plants, small picture frames or knickknacks). Use & care instructions: When you receive and unpack your crates, be sure to wipe them down with a slightly damp cloth to remove excess dust from packaging and shipping. The crates have not been sealed, so if you desire a smooth finish or want to ensure there is no flaking of paint, you may wish to apply a clear coat of paint or wood stain. The bottoms are not painted and are a plain wood color. About the manufacturer: At Home on Main is a division of Winship Stake and Lath a small, family-owned business.
