Ampersand Natural Wood Panels are made with premium thick basswood top-mounted to a heavy-duty solid basswood cradle frame. These larger size panels are extremely stable and will not flex or bend. Free of seams, knots, and raised fibers with a perfectly smooth uniform finish. Ideal for all painting grounds, encaustics and waxes, collage, mixed media, wood engraving, and mounting canvas and giclees. Single panel, 1.5 inch cradle back, measures 12 x 48 inches.
