Description

Don't guess at what products your lawn and garden need! Too much of a fertilizer will poison your soil. This probe makes it easy and affordable for you to collect soil samples from the actual root zone for an excellent fertility recommendation and even a visual examination. Simply push or hammer the probe down to the desired depth, wiggle it a bit, and then lift it out. The soil column slides out the top when you tip it, often in one beautiful column. Repeat as desired across your area. Remember to add a "Soil Test Kit" to your Amazon basket if you want to quickly analyze your soil samples yourself. Or, your local Extension Service may analyze it and make recommendations for free like they do for us. Discovering what fertilizer and PH adjusting products your soil needs IS THE SECRET TO A GREEN THUMB! Get the lawn and garden your neighbors or potential-buyers will envy! REQUIREMENT: If you choose to use a hammer, use a large one to prevent probe damage. This probe requires at least a 3 pound hammer! It seems counter-intuitive, but large hammers are less damaging.
