Offering greater mechanical strength and durability, this KIMBLE KIMAX low form beaker provides high

Description

KIMAX beakers offer excellent mechanical strength and durability while providing high resistance to chemical attack and thermal shock. They have been a staple in research laboratories for many generations and are available in a variety of sizes from 10 to 4000 mL. The beakers have white, double scale markings and a white matte-finish marking area designed for use with an ordinary pencil. They are suitable for use on a hotplate. Ref: ASTM Method D2070. They meet requirements for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E438, Type I, Class A, Standard Specification for Glass in Laboratory Apparatus. 33 expansion borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, very high resistance to chemical attack, and heavy walls that minimize the risk of mechanical breakage when heat is applied. Beakers are used for measurement, quality testing, sampling, and research, and in lab applications in chemistry, education, research, and life science applications. Kimble Chase Life Science and Research Products manufactures scientific laboratory glassware under the Kimble Chase KIMAX brand. The company has its origins in Kimble Glass and Kontes Glass and is now a division of The Gerresheimer Group.
