Description

This beautiful set of the 5 Platonic solids is handmade in Virginia from finest Douglas Fir. The pieces are fine-sanded but unfinished. Durable and beautiful left in natural wood, they may also be painted, varnished, or decorated. All of the Platonic solids are included: the Tetrahedron, Cube, Octahedron, Icosahedron, and Dodecahedron. According to Plato, these represent respectively fire, earth, air, water, and spirit. Beautiful on a shelf or desktop, they are also excellent teaching aids.
