STENOTYPE FINGER TECHNIQUE: A COURSE IN FINGER POWER for the Student, Court Reporters, CART Reporters and Closed Captioners

This manual of finger training exercises is based on the authors experience as a stenotype reporter and teacher. These drills were developed not only for their RAPID effectiveness in overcoming finger difficulties, but also, as warm-up at a peak for actual stenotype operation. By faithfully following the instructions, the court reporter, CART reporter, and closed captioner can improve finger technique and control so that it will be possible to accomplish more in an hours practice with a perfected technique than can otherwise be attained in two hours with a mediocre technique.
