Description

Eliminate Mold and Mildew Growth with a Drywave

The DryWave is the ideal unit to prevent mold and mildew from forming in your boat, RV, cabin or home. When air comes in contact with a surface that is at or below its dew point temperature, condensation will form on that surface to contribute to mold and mildew. The DryWave is designed to prevent water condensation from forming by gently warming the air and raising the dew point. The DryWave has no moving parts but instead works through convection heating, drawing cooler air from the bottom and emitting warm air through the top of the unit. Ideal for spaces up to 1,000 cubic feet, including boats, RV's, cabins or rooms in a home. When you are not using these spaces they can be subject to moisture accumulation due to lack of ventilation, that along with cooler temperatures, can cause condensation to occur.

Where and When the Drywave is Effective

The Drywave 1000 air dryer works best in cool moist climates, when the temperature range is above freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) and below 68 degrees. While areas like the Gulf coat and Florida frequently have problems with mold, even in the summer, the combination of high humidity and high temperature will reduce the effectiveness of the DryWave, and operation can lead to overheating of the unit. In areas with cool, damp climates like some coastal regions and the Pacific Northwest, the DryWave 1000 can be particularly effective as a deterrent to mold and mildew. Fall, winter and spring, when temperatures are low and air moisture is high, can be the ideal time to use the DryWave 1000 air dryer.
