Description

Our Ouroboros display a winged serpent with its tail in its mouth, creating a circle with its body. Encircled within is a hexagram, a symbol associated with the magic of alchemy and human creation. It symbolizes the divine union of male and female energy. The Ouroboros is an ancient mystical symbol signifying infinity and unity. Being a circle show that infinity has no beginning nor end, while the dragon biting its tail shows that the beginning and end of infinity are the same place. The Ouroboros represents self knowledge and the cycle of life. It can also represent primordial unity: something existing in or persisting from the beginning with such force that it cannot be extinguished. The Ouroboros design resembles the one found tattooed on Homunculi in the anime series, "Fullmetal Alchemist".
