The SWT1F is single-pole (2-wire) line-voltage thermostat that is compatible with the following electric heaters: Electric baseboards, fan forced wall heaters, Ceiling Heater, 5000 watt or less electric unit garage or work shop heater , floor drop in heaters, toe kick heaters and convection and convector electric heaters and cove heaters. It can work on single or multiple heaters that the wattage is less than 22 amps ( to calculate amps take heater(s) wattage divided by heater(s) voltage = Amps Example 1500 watts divided by 120 volts = 12.5 amps

DOES NOT WORK WITH:
conventional 24v heating and cooling systems or hydronic (Hot Water) systems. radiant, radiant floor; exhaust fans with heat, central air furnace, heat pump and hot water boiler or any low voltage (24v) system

The SWT. single-pole (two-wire) line voltage thermostats. It works with 120/240-volt electric heat systems with an electrical rating of 22 amps (resistive: 2,600 watts at 120 VAC/5,000 watts at 240 VAC) its easy to install and fits into a single wall-mounted junction box and can, replace virtually any two-wire line voltage thermostat.
