Daikon RadishA beautiful, spring-flowering plant from eastern North America with lovely, pure white or pink-tinged, saucer-shaped flowers, each about 3ins across with a central boss of numerous yellow stamens. The flowers emerge in April as the blue-grey leaves are unfurling. 6ins Germination Instructions
Sow immediately. Sow into a cold frame or directly in a shaded, wooded area. Surface sow and cover with a thin layer of soil. Allow 5cm between seeds. Allow natural winter cold to offer ideal conditions for germination to occur the following spring as the weather warms. Some seeds may require 2 full winters before they germinate. Transplant pot-grown seedlings when well grown to final flowering position.Growing Instructions
Prefers a moist, humus-rich soil in full or partial shade. Slow to establish, once established will form spreading colonies.
