The SportStar SpeedFlex Adapter Kit allows any traditional chinstrap with buckles to work on the Riddell SpeedFlex helmet.Installation Instructions:
1. Remove the thumbwheel screw from the back of the existing ratchet housing and remove the ratchet housing from the helmet
2. Replace the ratchet housing with the SportStar Adapter and secure it into place by finger tightening the same thumb wheel screw to the back of the adapter
The SportStar Adapter attaches with the existing thumb wheel screw that comes with the helmet. Additional thumbwheels do not come as a part of the adapter kit.
