History of Peppermint Spearmint Blend
The two prominent mint plants, spearmint and peppermint, have a longstanding history. Spearmint, thought to have originated in the Mediterranean. Its the oldest known of the mint plants and has been used since ancient Rome as a cure to bad odors as well as a way to freshen breath. Peppermint, on the other hand, is a widely popular member of the mentha family and can be found growing throughout Europe as well as North America. It was used by Romans and Greeks in cooking and in presentationboth as a means of dressing up for themselves and as dcor on a dinner table.
Using Peppermint Spearmint Oil
Roll generously on your wrists, temples, nape of neck, or behind the ears throughout the day whenever you need a bit of spirit uplifting!
Bath & Shower:
Add 5-10 drops to hot bath water, or sprinkle into shower steam before getting in for an at-home spa experience.
Massage
8-10 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil. Apply a small amount directly to areas of concern, such as muscles, skin or joints. Work the oil gently into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
