Cheese & Onion :- Where better to find Cheddar than in its home county of Somerset. They've had hundreds of years to mature their cheese making-process, which makes the perfect crumbly cheddar cheese for our Cheese and Onion crisps. You can almost taste the rural loveliness in the cheese. The Blackdown Hills, Mendip Hills, Quantock Hills and the Somerset Levels. Mmmm. Ready Salted :- Who'd have thought it? The best salt we could find for our classic Ready Salted crisps is over 220 million years old. We found it in Cheshire and, considering its age, it tastes pretty amazing. In the Triassic period, seawater flooded much of Cheshire, before retreating and leaving the Cheshire Basin with vast supplies of rock salt. History never tasted so good. Salt & Vinegar :- Our Salt & Vinegar and Pickled Onion crisps have something in common - they both offer the delicious bite of real vinegar. Real British vinegar. In this country, we all know that chips just aren't chips without it and, likewise, both our Salt & Vinegar and Pickled Onion crisps just wouldn't have the flavour they do without it. Prawn Cocktail :- Tomatoes need plenty of water and we've found a place that certainly gets more than its fair share - which is probably why the tomatoes from there taste so good. The Vale of Evesham is in the flood plain of the River Avon. It now supplies our tasty tomatoes, straight from the vine, and straight into our Prawn Cocktail and Tomato Ketchup crisps.
