About this item: Thailand's Sumalee Nawakul puts together a palette of vibrant colors for the design of this beaded multi-strand necklace. She uses multicolored rice-shaped beads carved of littleleaf boxwood, creating 10 hand-knotted strands that twist into a necklace. The 25.5 inch necklace closes with a wood toggle clasp.

About our Artist: Thailand's Sumalee Nawakul says, 'One day, as I was walking on the street, I noted some small wooden beads on a handbag, and I thought that this was a material that is hardly used. I bought a pound of beads and started threading necklaces by hand with bright, noticeable colors. My necklaces are affordable, lightweight and beautiful.'...
