The bacon slab is hand rubbed with our dry cure ingredients, then slow smoked for an unforgettable flavor that has been loved for generations. Remember our country ham and bacon is salt cured and will be salty in nature, if you want to remove some of the salt, soak before cooking or boil the ham per included instructions. . In addition because they are salt cured the box will be shipped without ice packs and will be perfectly safe since the salt removes sufficient moisture so that bacteria will not grow. Ham cooking instructions are included.
