Handmade Garnet Pendant Necklace: A teardrop spessartite garnet is wrapped onto a twisted sterling bail, from a rolo sterling chain. This garnet is a nice red with a cinnamon tinge typical of a spessartite or hessonite variety. The stone is nicely sized, about 12mm long.
