Reading Your Results

Normally, levels of blood glucose after 8 hours of fasting (i.e. taken before breakfast) are expected to be between 70mg/dL and 99mg/dL.
A normal level two hours after eating is usually less than 140mg/dL.

Readings lower than 70mg/dL (LOW GLUCOSE) are dangerous, and you should contact your healthcare professional immediately, as you may be at risk for hypoglycemia.

Readings higher than 180mg/dL (HIGH GLUCOSE) are dangerous, and you should contact your healthcare professional immediately, as you may be at risk for hyperglycemia.

If your results read 0.0mg/dL, use a new test strip and repeat.
