It has been hard in the past to find high quality sheets without having to buy the entire set.... until now! Textile experts: the construction is 173x120 using 60 compact yarns in both the warp and the weft - it doesn't get any better. Higher thread count or heavier fabric does not mean higher quality - think silk. Inferior sheeting is made with thicker, cheaper yarns: this adds weight not luxury. This fabric is light weight, not "thin". Only a single yarn is used for each weft thread giving the fabric a very high tensile strength. The fabric is sanforized (pre-shrunk), mercerized, and bio-polished. Bio-polishing is a technique used to make the fabric especially soft. The factory I use basically invented the process and is one of the few in the world able to make fabric feel this nice. These are made in India at the most modern, clean, and safe factory. Most other sheets on Amazon is made in Pakistan or China. There is a huge difference in quality.

These are machine washable, but are 100% cotton, so they may wrinkle just a bit. We do recommend washing before using for the first time. I recommend taking them out of the dyer just before they finish drying.
