Description

This helps to prevent the heat from the nozzle traveling too far upwards. Without this fan, the filament could get soft above the heater block, which leads to extrusion issues and degradation of print quality. This is a DC 12V 0.08A cooling fan. Dimensions are 40mm x 40mm x 10 mm. Sufficient for use in 3D printing, operating speed is 6000 RPM. Equipped to properly cool your 3D printer's extruder assembly, this extruder fan is compatible with the MakerBot Replicator 2 and MakerBot Replicator 2X.
