Bella Lucia was founded in 2009 as a cottage industry and named after the founders late mother. Since then Bella Lucia has become synonymous with a handmade, Non-GMO, all-natural, and Gluten Free pizzelle cookie.They are a labor of love. All cookies are made on a pizzelle iron, making just 2 at a time. Bella Lucia is the only manufacturer of gluten free pizzelle in North America. They are the recipients of the Young Emerging Business Award in 2016, as well as the prestigious 2017 Sofi Award. The Sofi is an award handed out by the Fancy Food Show and the Specialty Food Association. This year Bella Lucia has been honored as a silver place winner in the gluten free snack category, as well as placing second. They are Delizioso!
