AudioQuest's NightOwl Carbon closed-back around-the-ear headphone replaces NightHawk's sound-diffusing grille with an intelligently designed aperiodic damping system for excellent isolation of external noise, deeper immersion, and improved mobile use. Loudspeaker-inspired design for naturally detailed, non-fatiguing sound: 50mm drivers with biocellulose diaphragms, rubber surrounds, voice-coil formers for low distortion, high excursion, true pistonic motion. Patented split-gap motor dramatically reduces intermodulation distortion. Earcups made from all-natural Liquid Wood with acoustically optimized support beams, internal damping. Patent-pending suspension system allows earcups to move freely, accommodates heads of almost any shape/size, decouples earcups to counteract resonances. Unsurpassed comfort: Thoughtful ergonomic elements allow music lovers, gamers, movie enthusiasts to listen longer with no pain, pressure, or listening fatigue.
