Description

The Tapioca Tree Manihot carthaginensis, from Mexico, is a Very Fast Growing small Tropical deciduous tree with wonderful large circular palmate leaves composed of 7 to 11 leaflets joined near the center and borne on long petioles. The Unusual leaves are reminiscent of a Schefflera leaf. Grown for Foliage, however, the small blooms are quite attractive. Grows to about 15' and can be maintained as a smaller specimen if desired. Prune back branches in winter to keep shape compact the following year. Makes a wonderful tree for your patio area, pool or garden . . . Also makes a Great Container Plant. The Tapioca Tree is a Splendid plant for a fabulous Tropical Effect and great when leaves are viewed from below.
