Description

TheZoom F8n Multi-Track Field Recorder presents the next generation of professional field recording for audio professionals and enthusiasts. The F8n is compact and lightweight, yet offers advanced features with eight inputs, ten tracks, and audio resolution up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

Designed to capture clean and clear sounds, the F8nfeatures 8 low-noise mic preamps with up to 75 dB gain and less than -127 dBu EIN. With Advanced Look-Ahead Hybrid Limiters, the recorder provides overload protection with 1 millisecond of delay and 10-20 dB of headroom. The Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator offers 0.2 ppm accuracy and the Zoom F8 control app for iOS allows for wireless remote control, file renaming, and metadata Entry. Additionally, time code I/O is featured on BNC connectors, and Ambisonics mode is available.

The versatile F8n has dual SD/SDHC/SDXC card slots with up to 512 GB each, and can function as an 8-in/4-out audio interface. It also supports Zoom interchangeable mic capsules and can operate on 8 AA batteries, an AC adapter, or a 9 to 18 VDC power pack.
