Description

This NSi Industries AM-N1-N1 splicer/reducer has one line-side connection and one load-side connection. It is suitable for use in electrical distribution boxes for splicing two wires of the same size together or reducing the size of a line in a circuit. The line side accommodates conductors from 250 MCM (thousand circular mils) to American Wire Gauge (AWG) #6, and the load side accommodates conductors from 250 MCM to #6 AWG. The connector is dual rated for use with both aluminum and copper conductors, and has a temperature rating of 90 degrees C and a current rating of 310 amps per pole. It is made of a high-conductivity aluminum alloy body mounted in a glass-filled polyester base, and measures 4 x 1.71 x 2.62 inches (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top.) This splicer/reducer is suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial electrical applications with an electrical distribution box and appropriately sized conductors.

NSi Industries manufactures electrical components and sensors, lighting products, and energy management products. The company, founded in 1975, is headquartered in Huntersville, NC.
