Description

Before movies, TV, and the Internet, stereoscopes were how people saw the world. The three-dimensional images were entertainment, education, and armchair travel for many. A reproduction of a stereoscope created by Oliver Wendell Holmes in 1862, this beautiful working instrument is made of wood, like the originals. Comes with 12 stereoscopic images, but you can also use it with others you find in antique stores or your grandmother's attic. About 6" high, 12" long
