Nothing beats the performance of Pelargonium zonale F1 which is commonly called Geranium. are a wonderful annual that work well in window boxes, all sorts of containers, and as a bedding plant. They have large bloom clusters and beautiful foliage to make a perfect addition to wherever they are grown. This Appleblossom variety has pale pink clusters that stand up to the heat of summer. Geraniums bloom all season and require very little maintenance to keep them performing their best. They can be wintered indoors with a little extra care. Start the seed indoors 8 - 10 weeks before the last expected frost. Press the seeds into the soil covering them with 1/8 inch of soil. Keep the seed moist until germination. With temperatures of 75F, germination is normally within 7 days. Transplant outdoors when frost danger has passed. Space the plants 8 - 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun and in moist, well-drained soil. Water the plants regularly. Use balanced liquid fertilizer monthly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent blooms to keep blooming continuous.
